What is the correct procedure for APM input into UIM

  • 1.  What is the correct procedure for APM input into UIM

    Hi All,

    We are trying get information from APM into UIM. What is the recommended process for doing this?  What probe(s) are involved, and are there any tec bulletins that address this?

    Currently the only integration between CA UIM and CA APM is unidirectional.  Using the apmgtw probe you can send QoS messages from CA UIM probes to your CA APM database.  See the apmgtw (CA APM Gateway) Wiki documents for more information on the use of this probe.  There are no means of getting CA APM information into CA UIM.  If this functionality is desired, you would need to create an enhancement request by creating an idea on this community site.
