"Installer user interface mode not supported" UIM Connector installation Error

  • 1.  "Installer user interface mode not supported" UIM Connector installation Error

    Hello Guys,

     

    During UIM Connector Installation, as soon as i run setup.bat file, i am getting below error. Screenshot attached.

     

    "Installer user interface mode not supported"

     

    I am running the batch file from CMD. Did below thing to troubleshoot but with no luck:-

     

    1) Tried putting -i GUI.

    2) Unblock the setup.bat file from properties.

    3) Ran the setup.bat file from local administrator

     

    Need your help guys.

    UIM Connector :- Version - 3.9.32

    Windows : 2012 R2

    Hi Ankur,

     

    Right click on ‘\Disk1\InstData\VM\UIM_connector.exe’ -> Change Compatibility Mode to Windows 7 or 8 accordingly, this should work.
