Hi, I'm using VC AIM to monitor customer's VMware infrastructure. I've configured disk monitoring for virtual machines using vmvcAimVMGuestDiskStateChangeTrap. To make it short, all alarms are created on VMware Manager. Alarm title is like this: VIRTUAL MACHINE <VM name> DISK SPACE THRESHOLD EXCEEDED where <VM name> is name of the virtual machine where disk threshold has been violated. I'm using Event procedure to handle this and to insert this name. The thing which is bothering me is how to send some of these alarms, the ones for specific virtual machines, to email? How can I filter these alarms in SANM when source device is always the same - VMware Manager? For example, I need to have this alarm sent to email. All other alarms, for other virtual machines, not to be sent, for example: VIRTUAL MACHINE testing DISK SPACE THRESHOLD EXCEEDED Is it possible?
