Company want to replace oracle java with with either OpenJDK or Amazon Corretto OpenJDK,

it is possible to change the Java deployed in this directory to either OpenJDK or Amazon Corretto OpenJDK? Does the Wade License cover the cost of the Java deployed there? Particular instance of this is found in the "/apps/WADE/jre/bin/java" directory.

    Hi,

All dSeries components are bundled with AdoptOpenJDK version from 12.3 release onwards.

    https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/intelligent-automation/ca-workload-automation-de/12-3/release-notes/12-2.html

Packaging AdoptOpenJDK 8 version with ESP dSeries components
Support for the latest version of Adoptopenjdk 8 with ESP dSeries components has been introduced. Therefore, a licensed Oracle Java version is not required

    Coming to the license query,

No, we cover no Oracle licensing for Java. The version/build (_181) shipped with our software releases was prior to the cutoff date when licensing became a requirement. If the customer wants to continue running this same level (_181) they can do so, but it is not recommended due to potential vulnerabilities. In order to upgrade the build level the customer must have a license with Oracle or switch to the AdoptOpen JDK.
