    Hello Experts,

I did a fresh installation of Autosys in DEV environment and it was successful.

I am trying to insert machine and getting below error.

the machine attributes "key_to_agent & encryption_type" should be same

I the agent name on the Application Server is WA1_AGENT and on the client where autosys agent is installed also have the same name configured in agentpara.txt

If I try inserting machine with agent_name "WA_AGENT" then it is successful, but since on target we have WA1_AGENT, I need to insert with same name in Application.

    Request your help on this.

    Regards,

    Shirish

    Hi,

The Agent name->encryption key is a one to one relationship.  So all agents that have an agent_name WA1_AGENT will need to have the same encryption type and key.  You don't mention if those are different than the existing one, so I am assuming that is the issue.  If that is not correct can you give some more detail on what you are entering and the error messages returned?
