Application Stuck in processing state in CA Workload Automation DE

We have some two applications which are stuck in processing status in monitor window , though all the job inside the application are in completed status . 
We can also see the respective application completed in DB too 

We tried manually completing the application but its throwing the below error.
"Application is not an active application managed by the Manager."

Since we have set enabled "do not trigger if active" option we are not sure how to automatically trigger the next generation without completing the previous generation which is stuck .

Unfortunately the only way I know of to get the next generation to trigger is to mark an application to complete.  We've had this problem sometimes in the past and have only found this way to do it.  Often too, one we mark it complete, we have to check the next time it is scheduled to make sure it's current.  If it isn't, the things I've done is to either manually trigger it (which doesn't always work first time) or edit the schedule, save it, and schedule it back to the time I want and save that.
