Two questions about the Web Client

I've just installed the web client in order to get a feel for it.  Two questions come quickly to mind and scanning the documentation hasn't helped me out.

 

1. Is there a way to change the default landing page after logging in?  It seems the default is Admin>Connections.  Dashboard or Monitor would be much preferable.

 

2. Is there a way to change the default session timeout of 20 +5 minutes.

Hi,

 

1.There is no configuration exposed to change the landing pages. However, the landing pages change based on the user type. For Admin user type , it is Connections . For others, it should be dashboard page.

2. The parameter for idle timeout can be configured in <webclient>\apache-tomcat\webapps\deui\common\scripts\config.js - idle:20,timeout:5

 

After changing the above values , webclient needs to be restarted.

So far all of us who have been testing this are Admins, but its good to know others will land on the dashboard.

I've updated our timeouts as well.
