  • 1.  ORA-01000 maximum open cursors exceeded

    we have increased the cursors connection 300-2000, still we are getting this error, is there bug with R11.3.6.SP7

    ORA-01000

    Hi Kiran

     

    I did some search in our Base and I found a similar issue .

     

    - max cursors can be resolved with oracle tuning

    'SESSION_CACHED_CURSORS' and 'OPEN_CURSORS' Parameters Based on Usage ( Oracle Doc ID 208857.1 )

     

    - Turning of WCC App Editor setting fixed the cursor issue.

    Show Jobs from AE instead of WCC collector DB
    Displays jobs from AE even when they are not in the WCC collector database.

    Hello Donny

     

    I am wondering if this problem might come from WCC Quick View.

     

    Could you please open WCC, click the "Configuration" widget

    In "Preferences", select "Quick View"

    At the bottom of the list of options, uncheck "Show Jobs from AE instead of WCC Collector DB"

     

    For follow up, I would recommend to open a case at CA support with the result of this above action

    and ask also DBA to give us Oracle cursor related logs
