  • 1.  Key not available for node in Errors Log

    I'm having trouble locating a few servers that are trying to reach out the DE manager. I am aware of what the message "Key not available for node" means but for the servers i am getting that message for i cannot find them anywhere on our network.

    Is there somewhere in the logs that shows an IP address associated with the server? For 2 of these servers it seems like the server has been completely removed from the network and doesn't exist but we are still getting messages for them. We are on version 11.3.3

    You can enable DE to log the IP address associated with the server in the tracelog by doing any of the following;

    1. Use the setlogthreshold command to set the severity threshold of the following logger identifiers to ALL;

    agent:afm

    communications

    dm:communications

    2. Create and apply a logging profile with the above logger identifiers set to ALL

    3. Apply the EVERYTHING logging profile to the server

    Make sure you have the disk space on the server to log these messages, and set it back to the default later.
