Has anyone done a JCS to Autosys conversion?

We have JCS schedulers that need to be retired. We want to migrate the JCS job streams to Autosys JIL. Does anyone have that experience or know of any tools that can this?

Happy to hear that. But doesn't answer my query. No one here has any experience with both JCS and Autosys. I just want to know if anyone has done this type of conversion and can give a bit of advice or know of any tools that would be helpful.

I have found that if IBM gets in somehow they want to migrate off autosys.

Hi, sorry I only just saw this... anyway yes we have done a couple of JCS to AutoSys conversions.  We have tools to effect some of the conversion programatically, however the two products are significantly different so there tends to be a degree of manual effort too.  Would be happy to discuss further.

Hi - converting from JCS to AutoSys is quite complex because the two products work in different ways.  We have proprietary tools to take care of this process.  If you would llike more information please feel free to email me directly.

Hi All

 I realise that this is an old post but, for future reference, please note that Extra Technology has migration experience (and tools) to migrate Redwood JCS (aka Cronacle) to AutoSys.  (We also have the tooling and experience to migrate in the other direction| if required).

Funny that this topic is popping up just now.

We/SystemPartners did various conversion between JCS and AutoSys in the past in both directions and we just finished a really complex one.

And please be aware that JCS/Cronacle/RunMyJobs is much more rich in features than AutoSys and a converison from JCS to AutoSys can be very challenging. As an example consider that e.g. AutoSys is not capable of doing job instantiation which is a key feature in JCS.
