I assume you are running Autosys (keyword jil) .

    Define two extended calendars.

One running all Saturdays but the last using the syntax: XSAT#L

The other running the last Saturday of the month SAT#L

    Hi Alex,

In DSeries you can use 'last Saturday of month' for the schedule statement.  I assume ESP will accept the same statement.

If you can let us know which Scheduler you are using, we can assist you better.

    Alex,

Can you let the community know which product you're using?

    Alex,

To run a job EVERY Saturday, using AutoSys, you could:

Define a standard calendar - selecting the specific date(s) you want.

    or

Define an extended calendar - using either workdays of "sa"

    or

Define an extended calendar - and condition of "Sat"

And then define your job to use the above calendar.

Or you could just use the days_of_week setting in the job definition.

To schedule a job to run every other saturday, you can again use

Define a standard calendar - selecting the specific date(s) you want.

    or

Define an extended calendar - and use the condition field

    ddd#n

Include the nth monthly occurrence of the specified day of the week, where 1 specifies the first occurrence.

    Example:

    Fri#1

Would be the 1st Friday of the month.

For more examples/details, IF this was for AutoSys, please review the AE reference guide.

or see the wiki page for details:

My apologies Last Saturday of the month. Seeing that Friday in the list is what threw me off

    What?!

    Keep it simple please..

An extended of last Friday of every month is all that is needed.

These other options. Muddy the waters..

    Just my 3 cents

I did not see it said "every other Saturday" thought I saw last Saturday and all other Saturdays but the last. Sorry for the confusion!
