  • 1.  Portfolio Item Copy fails - missing parent

    Hi Danny,
    Yes, in our system “parent” is a required field. So what you are saying is since this “Portfolio Item Copy” is designed to create a “parentless” copy, it will always fail for me since my system is requiring a parent.
    Do you have any recommendations for a another “deep-copy” app where I can either specify the Parent before the copy runs, or the app copies over the Parent of the original portfolio item?

    Hi Wendy,

    Yes, that's my understanding too why you are getting this error.
    And no, unfortunately, I am not aware of another deep-copy app where this
    would be solved.
