Use current user info in Custom List App

I need to create a Custom List App that will show all of the tasks owned by the currently logged in user.

(Owner = {user})   - easy enough. 

However, I thought I read somewhere that this function may be removed anytime.

Hi Paul,

I think you might be referring to this page: Build App Queries

I'm honestly not sure why they've included that blurb in there, however, I've been using those expressions for a few years now and that documentation hasn't changed.  It's possible that it is in there in the event they needed to change due to an API change.  I wouldn't worry too much about that behavior changing in the near term.
