Notes/Description Field in Rally shows HTML when in-line editing on Custom List

Hi all,

I am curious if anyone can confirm if this is working as designed or a defect in a custom list.  Having the HTML appear in in-line editing makes it difficult to actually use in-line editing.

Hi Neil, unfortunately, the inline editing code is based on older technology in the Custom List. It doesn't support proper wysiwyg editing. The Work Views in the new UI and the FDP/QDP pages make use of a better 'google' editor technology.

There is no easy workaround in the custom list apart from taking the source and overriding the columnCfgs with a new editor.

Thanks for the feedback, this is unfortunate as Work Views cannot handle queries.  I also opened a support case on this, and am waiting to hear back.  Once I do, we will submit feedback in Rally on this behavior.  It is time to upgrade the custom list app :)
