age of story across states

Anyone know if Rally can track the age of a story across scheduled states?  Currently, you can configure a label on the story to display the age (e.g. "1 day") in a state but then as soon as you move it to another it resets.  

I'd like the age to be visible and cumulative from one state to another. 

 

For instance, if we have InProgress, Completed, Accepted and it spent 2 days in each, I'd like the label to show "6 days" in Accepted.

 

Cycle time visibility to aging works wonders for a team.

Hi Jduff,  I have not seen an App or way to do that.  You could create a custom field and an API to calculate and update the field with the age of all work items.  Seems like a lot of work to get the count.  Alternatively you can  show the Creation Date on the card.  I hope that helps.
