  • 1.  What's the easiest way to build a custom report/app in CA Agile Central?

    The company is in need of a custom report, which will use basically 3 fields:

    Initiative name

    Custom decimal field 1

    Custom decimal field 2.

     

    They need to put them into a graph app, showing a bar or column with the amount of "Custom decimal field 1" and "Custom decimal field 2" for each Initiative.

     

    Any ideas about this need? How to approach a solution?

    Hi Juan,

     

    Essentially you'll need to develop such an app. Our app SDK is the framework you can use to develop apps. We also have a Community Apps site. Each app on that site is provided as-is with its open source code. I can't find a similar enough app there, but you may want to look more carefully into the apps that are there and possibly use them for example code for this app which you'll need to develop. You probably want to check in there and see if there are other apps that display a graph in a similar manner to your need, then use that code as a baseline for your development.

    Hi Juan,  You can also create (simple) custom apps from within Rally.
