Is there a way to suppress seeing duplicate defect's on the Iteration Status page when the defect is linked to a parent story? When we have multiple defects it's causing confusion on the team.
Hi Husovsky, If the parent and the defect are both linked to the iteration, the defect will show twice. If you remove the iteration from the defect it will only show under the parent. There are Pro's and Con's to having the iteration identified at both levels. The original intent was for only the top parent level have the iteration and all of the children would follow. Some users want to query the work items linked to the iteration, so the iteration is added to each level which makes queries easier to write. I hope that helps. -Edwin
Thank you Edwin that is what I needed!
If we remove the iteration from the defect and create a task under the defect, the team status view does not include those hours for the iteration.
