We have multiple users that are attempting to download the excel add in but it errors out because they do not have visual studios 10. After downloading visual studios 10 they run into issues of running of VS 10 not working well with VS 16 or VS 10 not being available to turn on. What is the Magic for getting this to work?
JohnStreeter is this something that is going to be updated soon? The Excel Plugin is important for many teams.
Not that I know of, Zach - the add-in still requires VS 2010. Are you saying they can't install the add-in or things just don't work right after it's installed?
We are rolling out with windows 10 and everyone is getting VS 16. Trying to use the Excel Plugin has become troublesome for users as they are having to downgrade to VS 10 and that is causing issues for the users. Along with it now being more cumbersome to get all the software to work together.
In my opinion the Excel plugin could use a major update to fix this an multiple other minor issues but also the ability to support Mac Excel.
