  • 1.  SSO not working for few users

    Hello Community,

    We are using Siteminder integrated with CA identity manager. Using CA directory for user and provision store.We implemented role based authorization for users.
    We using reverse proxy for applications, Once user login to main portal and if he has role then he can access to next application.
    We mapped user directory to domain and for different applications mapped that particular user group in policy for authentication.
    For this roles we using DB connectors to create users on specified application DB.
    Recently we application DB changed to new one and we updated new one details in Provisioning manager for one end point.Now if new user created for that endpoint user can login to main portal but after he couldn't access to particular application.
    Login page appearing again and once he enters the credentials, not working showing error like incorrect credentials.
    This user is created under the same user group in user directory which mapped in policy. 
    Old users before DB details modified working fine.

    What could be reason for this issues, Please need help on this.

    Hi Girish,

    One thing on top of my head is that if you changed the User Directory,
    you have to remove the users on the policy and set them back
    again. This is what I would try first.

    Then, you should enable the Policy Server Profiler traces to see why
    the user cannot get the resource.

    Thanks for your reply,
    We did not changed User Directory, We changed DB address in Provisioning manager to new DB.
    We are getting this error while accessing application.
    The requested action was not successfully accomplished and the following error occurred during 
    the attempt to display the page: Error getting pooled connection for user connection. 
    Error getting pooled connection for user connection. - The errors that occurred during the 
    requested action should also appear below.
     Please need help on this.

    The error :

    "Error getting pooled connection for user connection"

    seems to come from Oracle.
