  • 1.  http 500 error - iis

    Hello,

I have created a simple application in CA SSO to ask basic authentication

I can reach initial html page but once I click in the link to any monitored resource I get 500 error.

I have checked logs smps.log, smtracedefault.log and even the web agent I have enabled, but dont´see any error.

If I remove the web agent the pages start working again.

What log should I look into to get the cause of this prb ?

I am using default trace configuration file which I have defined in the ACO. Is there any extra action to be taken in order to start gathering information about the prb ? Any other tip ?

    Tks,

    Lincoln

The default WebAgent.log using the Agent Configuration Object, should log HTTP 500 error codes and the corresponding WebAgentTrace.log again using Agent Configuration Object should provided a little more insight.

    Hi,

Got the cause of the problem.

Cleaning up cache in the ie make the simple form to appear, and logs start to be populated ( already was using trace in aco ).

Then I notice a permission problem to the files in iis. Granted permissions and now it is ok.

    Working now.
