    Team,

We have to implement log roll-over for CA Directory and we are aware that CA Directory provides OOTB dsa tags to enable logs roll-over. What it doesn't provide is if we want to keep, lets say, 10 log files of size 10mb each and post that keep deleting the 11th file and keep rolling over the logs.

Does CA Directory provides this feature of keeping specified number of log files after roll-over ?

    Thanks,

    Shivam

P.S. - CA SSO and CA webagent provides this feature OOTB

Have we reviewed this content of current log roll over functionality with CA Directory.

Monitoring with Log Files - CA Directory - 14.0 - CA Technologies Documentation

It does not provide the same feature as "LogFilesToKeep" in CA SSO. But it does create new log files. The onus is thus onto us to how and when to house keep the rolled over logs.
