  • 1.  Siteminder Agent for SharePoint | Multi-Value attribute mapping

    Posted Sep 26, 2017 09:57 AM

    Hi there,

I set up the Siteminder Agent for SharePoint and everything is working as expected.

Now i'm setting up a attribute mapping for a new claim. This attribute (employeeType) is a multi-value attribute.

    Searching in jxplorer is see:

    employeeType - Value1

    employeeType - Value2

When a user have multi-values in employeeType, the siteminder identity provider only set one claim in this format: ClaimType: http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/claims/employeeType

    Value: Value1^Value2

There is any change to get two claim types with different values?

    Ex:

    ClaimType: http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/claims/employeeType

    Value: Value1

    ClaimType: http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/claims/employeeType

    Value: Value2

    Thanks,

    Tiago Pimpão

I open a support case and the answer is below.

    From the Guide :

    https://support.ca.com/cadocs/0/CA%20SiteMinder%20Agent%20for%20SharePoint%2012%2051-ENU/Bookshelf_Files/PDF/sm_agent_for_sharepoint_guide_enu.pdf

    Attribute

Specifies an attribute name for one of the following claim types:

    -Group based

    -Role based

    For multi–valued attributes, prefix FMATTR:

    > Example: (group–based claim) smusergroups

    > Example: (role-based claim) userrole

    > Example: (multiv–alued attributes) FMATTR:LastName

    Thanks CA Support!
