  • 1.  No Agent Instances listed in r12.8 Admin UI

    We are upgrading from 12.51 to 12.8 (parallel upgrade with separate keystores; policy servers and policy stores on Linux). When we point the Web Agents and JBoss Agents to the new Policy Store (after successfully registering them), SSO is working. However, the agents are not showing up in the Agent Instances listing in the Admin UI -- and there are no AgentInstance entries to be found in the Policy Store under ou=PolicySvr4 or ou=XPS. (We deliberately excluded the 12.51 Agent Instances during the XPSExport process.)

     

    The Policy Server trace logs show the agents periodically sending health monitor information.

     

    Where are the Agent Instances?

    In XPSConfig, the Current Value for AgentDiscoveryEnabled is "1" (default) -- Auto Discover.
