Which version of Visual Studio does "CA Single Sign On" 12.52, 12.6 and 12.7 use?
I saw in this discussion SSO 12.6: Visual Studio version for custom code in C language, that 12.6 uses vcredist_x64vs2005SP1 & vcredist_x64vs2013 compilers. Does it require both versions 2005 and 2013 of VS?
I'm unable to access Platform Support Matrix or Platform Information Matrix, it says Unauthorized.
It uses 2013 VS,
Below are the links for PSM :
12.7 : SAP Portal Services
12.6 : SAP Portal Services
12.52 SP2 : SAP Portal Services
12.52 : SAP Portal Services
Thanks for the information.
Accessing the SAP Portal Services links says "Unauthorized"
I guess you do not have access to your account. You might have to check with your accounts team for this access.
You mentioned it uses VS 2013, this is for all versions or specifically for 12.6?
Can you give specific details, as in:
- VS version in 12.52 ?
- VS version in 12.6 ?
- VS version in 12.7 ?
VS version in 12.52 ? VC++ 2005

Hi Sahana Udaya,
12.52 SP1 & 2 require the use of the VC++ 2005 for embedded 3rd party components. As they are embedded, VC++ 2005 cannot be removed.
CA SSO 12.6 was compiled using VC++ 2013 and has no components requiring an older VC++ version.
