  • 1.  CA Sigle Sign On integration with SAS 9.4

Hi, i need to integrate CA Sigle Sign On with SAS 9.4 Intelligence Platform.

The SAS Guide provide some direction on how to do that:

SAS 9.4 integration with CA Single Sign-on depends on two software applications from CA:
CA Single Sign-onWeb Agent (any version)
    CA Single Sign-on SDK r12.x

SAS 9.4 support for CA Single Sign-on (formerly known as CA SiteMinder) requires configuring a Web Agent to communicate with SAS Web Server and a custom security module for SAS Web Application Server. SAS provides the custom security module. Successful authentication results in a security token (SMSESSION) being set in the user's web browser cookies. The security module receives the security token in the request and communicates with the policy servers through an API to decode the user credentials from the security token. This works in conjunction with web authentication to integrate with existing CA Single Sign-on environments

Did someone already tried this solution, do we some documentation from CA that describe in detail this kind of integration?

    Best Regards

    Claudio

Claudio,  I didn't see in the CA's Runbooks or in this packaged solutions site below anything related to what you are asking.

Packaged Work Product Catalog for Security Solutions - CA Technologies

But, of course, somebody in this Community may know if we've any work done with SAS.  Also, you can check with SAS Support.

In addition, if you need CA's assistance to help architect or design, our CA Services Packaged Work Product team can get in touch with you. The best way is to open a case with CA Support to start that dialogue.

Thanks & Best Rgds. - Vijay
