  • 1.  Reports not getting fetched from admin UI

    I am unable to extract the following reports from siteminder adminUI in production environment:

     

     

    users by role

    resources by user

    roles by application

    applications protected resources

    roles by resource

    users by resource

    policies by role

    applications by user Error :

     

    Failed to execute ReportingInstanceEvent. ERROR MESSAGE: SmApiWrappedException:Column 'RPT_INSTANCE_ID' cannot accept a NULL value.

     

    CA report server version : CABI 3.2

    Siteminder version : 12.52

    • Was this working before ?
    • Are the audit reports working?
    • Did you try runnig these report directly from CABI ?

    Analysis reports are run using in-memory engine within the PS. If this never worked before, please review the PSM for your configuration, making sure all components are in a supported configuration. Please check connectivity between Report Server host and PS/ AdminUI (and, if firewall used, proper firewall ports are open as recommended). Secondly, AdminUI's connection configuration for the Report Server.

    java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: Column 'RPT_INSTANCE_ID' cannot accept a NULL value.

    Policy Server Displays Java.Sql Error (55835)

    Symptom:

     

    Policy Server displays java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException error, when you run the Audit and Analysis report due to null value in Column RPT_INSTANCE_ID.
