Roll back SPS upgrade

Hi,

 

I am planning to upgrade siteminder SPS from R12.52 to r12.52 CR6 in Windows platform.

Can you share your thoughts on roll back plan if something goes wrong, how we can roll back it effectively?

What is the best approach?

Hi Rikash,

 

I would suggest to backup the SPS installation path

ie:

C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\secure-proxy

 

Important part is the configuration files in httpd and proxy-engine. If something wrong after upgrade, configuration files (in conf folder) are what normally contribute to the problem.
