rollup completed partially- no data in CCR

  • 1.  rollup completed partially- no data in CCR

    Hi,

     

    We are not receiving data in the CCR since last month.

    The Rollup report status says it was completed partially.

    I do not have an idea why that might be happening.

    Any help here...

    There should be an error reported to the apache Tomcat stderr log. There might be an issue with the database tablespace or undo space.

    Also, if you look in the 'Diagnostics'->'Rollup Status Report' in CCR, you may be able to see which step it failed on and what the error message is.

    Getting the below error message:

     

    ERROR: Rollup process on tpp table errored out.: -1653: ORA-01653: unable to extend table

    HYPDM.ENTITY_HOUR_FACT by 8192 in tablespace HYPDM_TBL

    ORA-06512: at "HYPDM.ROLLUP_METRICS", line 1604 ORA-06512: at "HYPDM.ROLLUP_METRICS", line 667

    Hey,

    The issue is with the available space allocated to the tablespace.

    The error is saying that the app is trying to extend the ‘entity_hour_fact’ table by 8192 and is unable to b/c the tablespace ‘HYPDM_TBL’ is out of space.

     

    unable to extend table HYPDM.ENTITY_HOUR_FACT by 8192 in tablespace HYPDM_TBL

    It could be that the entire disk is physically out of space; but more likely it is just that the db tablespace has exhausted allocation.

    To remedy, your dba needs add another datafile to the hypdm_tbl tablespace.

    Kip is correct - this looks most likely to be a tablespace issue.

     

    Before just asking for more tablespace, you may also want to review your data retention settings - how long are you holding raw data for example?

     

    (Also, just because I've seen it recently - do you have separate tablespace for idx / tbl and got staging / datamart as per recommended settings? I have recently dealt with a situation where the staging and datamart shared a common tablespace and an error in staging chewed up 60GB of space, which impacted migrations and rollup until resolved)
