Hi,
Moving a server with changing the name and IP can cause some effects, because the connector should get a new name to be referenced properly in the SOI Manager.
All CIs coming via this connector will get new IDs, because the Product Instance is part of the ID-Triple.
Is the connector installed on a separate server or directly on the UIM Server?
If the Connector is installed on a remote server to UIM:
You can use the Admin Tab in the SOI Dashboard to provide the new information, keeping the same connector name.
Or you can edit the connector configuration file directly.
If the connector is installed on the UIM Server:
"Remove" the connector from the SA Manager, using the Admin tab in the SOI Dashboard.
Then update the configuration file on the server where the Connector is installed and restart the Catalyst Container,
The connector should re-register automatically with the Manager.
In the worst case you have to:
- remove the Connector from the SOI Manager
- uninstall it from the server where it is currently installed
- reinstall it, providing the new information about UIM.
