Permission Automation

Is there anyone that has attempted or is active running a integration to Rally for project or workspace permissions?  We currently have an integration with Okta for SSO authentication as well as Activating and In-activating users and now we want to explore giving global access (Viewer to all projects in the workspace, Editor to all projects in the workspace, and PA to all projects in the workspace)  just curious to find out 1) if there is a viable solution 2) How difficult was it to implement 3) Any regrets or lessons learned from the integration.

Hey Sheri,

There are ways to do that. There are some apps such as this one: https://github.com/RallyCommunity/export-project-permissions-to-csv to export permissions.
We also have a/few scripts that can setup permissions. If anything then the scale (how many users, how many projects) may be an issue.
