  • 1.  Deleting Portfolio Item type in Sandbox

    Hello,

    I am trying to delete a portfolio item type but i am getting error messgae that "could not delete. Portfolio type is in use". 
    I have ensured that there are no work items linked to it but I still get that error. Please suggest.

    Hi Ayush,

    I believe what is happening here is that you're trying to delete this type "Do not use" when editing the Portfolio Item Type filed on a project. This value ("Do not use") was possibly defined on the Workspace level and may be still in use in other projects. 

    If you are a workspace admin you can confirm that, or otherwise contact your workspace admin. If you try to delete on the workspace level then if it's indeed still in-use then it'll show you the occurrences where it's used.

    Hello Sagi,

    Thanks, I am the sub-admin and figured out what i was doing wrong. I was editing the field at project level.


    On a separate note, what is the process of requesting Sandbox refresh?

    Thanks Ayush, glad that it helped.

    To request a sandbox refresh you would need to contact support (see: Sandbox Refresh). Creating a support case should be the easiest way for you to request it.
