"We hit a snag" message on Discussions

  • 1.  "We hit a snag" message on Discussions

    One of the user is not able to get to Discussions. Everytime user try to hit Discussions, receives error "Whoops, We hit a snag." 

    What does this error mean? how can we reslove this?

    Anitha,  Are other users able to see the Discussions? Is this work item in an open or closed project? How is the user getting to the work item, do they search for it, do they navigate to the project then go to it through the menu items (Plan > User Story, Portfolio > Portfolio Items > Features, etc.)?  You are a Sub Admin, do you get the same error?  If you reproduce their workflow, do you get the same error?

    I saw this with one of my team members here as well, repeatedly, on any defects that he was trying to open. This was on Edge.
    Then I had him open Rally in a different browser(Chrome) and it worked just fine.

    I am seeing this message while accessing Plan->Work Views. I added another filter in already working work view and since then i am unable to use this feature. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks!!

    We also have a user getting "Whoops!  We hit a snag" on Work Views.  Can we use the Preference Deleter app to clear this?  If so, what is the preference name?

    I am getting the same "Whoops! We hit a snag" error when trying to add features to a Capacity Plan. Verified that I get the error in multiple browsers and other users do not, so I suspect, like Pat above, that it's a preference issue.  Help is appreciated!

    We saw the "Whoops! We hit a snag" message while accessing Plan->Work Views on Pat's PC again yesterday.  I then went right to my PC to see if I could get and could not.  It is very random and sporadic, but has been occurring on Work Views more often lately.
