Please, provide more information. This button appears only after the change order has been saved.

    HI Jean

Yes the button appears after CO has been saved. But in our environment, Change order create  related to MULTIPLE CIs and users usually do not select the CIs after saving change order. SO we want  Update CI button to be mandatory while creating Change Order so the user will select related CIs for their change.

    Thanks

Do you mean that you want the button to appear while creating the change, before the very first save ?
If so, it is technically impossible. The change MUST exist in the database before you can add CIs to it.

If you want CIs added to the change before it can be further processed, you need to add some kind of workflow where you check asset.length. asset is a list attribute tht shows the list of CIs attached to the change.
