CMDB AUTO DISCOVERY AND AUTO MAPPING

Hello Team,

I just configured the CMDB visualizer in a clients environment, i would like to know how i can auto discover the CI's and also  auto  map them to their various servers because the client does not want manual mapping between the CI'S.

Hi Ayodeji,

As you would know the CMDB\Configuration Item module of CASM does NOT have the capability to discover assets. You can use other tool like CCA (CA Configuration Automation) to discover CI's and their relationships and import them into the CMDB. The integration is discussed in the CASM documentation.
