  • 1.  Restrict Events on Ticket Page via DP

    Hi Members

    On Ticket page, Additional Information -> Service Type->Attach Service Type Event button



    when click on this button and search for the events, it appear all the events.  (like below 112 in our case)



    We want to show only specific Events here and for that we tried to do this from data partition but no luck so far.

    Since, Event table is not listed in Data Partition Controlled Table so we exported the ctab table and add the entry for "Events" table and Object Name "evt" and import it back.

    Now when we create the constraint with type 'View' and constraint is sym ='//Event Name' , it save but still it shows all the events.

    We only want to allow 4 events not all.

    PLease advise how can we achieve that i believe this can be done from DP

    Hi Asim,

    What is the Business Case\Justification for this? What is it that needs to be hidden from Analysts as this is only visible to them and not the end customer?

    Hi Brian

    We have custom role 'Change Analyst' to log Change Order and this open role and can be access by end user as well. so we need to hide all events from. that role on ticket page apart from. 4 only.

    Hi @Brian Mathato

    We have custom role to to raise RFC for few external analysts (outside the organization) and we dont want them to have the visiblity of all the events on ticket page as part of Risk concern. So we need to to hide all the critical events. 

    Please advise.
