  • 1.  Ca Service desk event_log issue

    Dear Community Members,

I am facing the issue since December that no current entries are registering in the CA Service Desk (v14.1). The event log (event_log) showing older entries up to 05 Dec 2018 (for all the users of Service Desk). I also checked for verification if any exception in the NX.env file but found no such excluding is there.

Has anyone face such issue before kindly share any knowledge document for any change of configuration.

    Thanks,

    Satyajeet Biswal

    Satyajeet_Biswal ..........

What specific SDM 14.1 patch level do you have installed?

Do you have plans on upgrading the latest supported SDM 17.2 release?

Does the 'pdm_vdbinfo' command show anny back logged requests?  If so, you might not have enough DB_AGENTS configured?

    Hi Paul,

This issue was already there, so think let I patch the server to the latest one which may help to sort out the problem. The latest patch I applied SO01140 and SO05733 on the server.

Yes, in the process of upgrade to latest version 17.2. Hope migration will mitigate the issue.

pdm_vdbinfo not showing any backlog requests.
