    Hi all,

Our CA SDM PROD (17.1.01) instance follows the conventional method by which we have one APP Server and four SECONDARY servers of which all are based on Windows Server 2012 R2. The web server configuration is (3*3 + 1*1) = 10 web engines

Users get directed via the web director to one of the web engines.

Recently we've been plagued by issues whereby CPU on the web servers are running at 100% causing service degradation.

The CPU consumption is directly related to memory (RAM) consumption where if the memory increases over 75%, the server begins caching data by use of the CPU.

Is there any possible way that we are able to limit the memory consumption of the web engine so that if it breaches the threshold, the engine restarts?

I don't think there is something to "limit" the webengine memory leak...the limit is OS dependent.

I think you may have a memory leak so you would need to work on that. Something like pdm_diag, bop_cmd etc

can be used. If you are not familiar with these tools, please open a Support case.
