    Good Morning Pallavi.

Do you mean something like 'spadmin'? Not sure whether I understand your question correct.

Please add more details on this? And for the record, please do inform about the Catalog release you are running?

Thanks in advance and kind regards, Louis.

    Hi Louis,

We need to setup share filestore locationin in  Service Catalog(Version 14.1 cum 5).

For this ,the Prerequisite for setting up the shared filestore location :

    • We need Service account(Non-Human) created which will have admin access on both catalog servers.
    • Then we need to start the catalog services using the service account.

and then we need to choose any one of the filestore location and share it using the service account.

I hope this clarifies the situation.

    Good Morning Palliva.

Thanks for sharing this with me.

    Then please check this page:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/identity-protection/access-control/service-accounts
With a full explanation on the following:
A service account is a user account that is created explicitly to provide a security context for services running on Windows Server operating systems.
The security context determines the service's ability to access local and network resources.
The Windows operating systems rely on services to run various features.

    Kind regards, Louis.

    Good Morning Palliva.

Please check on the following, somewhat formal kind of statement:
This 'Community' functionality is meant for relatively simple questions&(quick)answers for CA Service Catalog.
Looking into this one, it seems/appears that you need more/further support after the 'quick answer' given in this thread.
More likely, 'investigation' and/or 'debugging' is needed to further assist you.
Therefor I need to ask you to consider to open a 'standard' case.
Through which you can get standard, full-service and in-depth follow-up by our Support Teams.

Thanks in advance for your understanding and kind regards, Louis.
