  • 1.  Failures after VMware Cluster Migration

An error appears after migrate SDM Virtual machines to another VMWare cluster. This behavior is like the one documented at KB000045656. But, in this kbdoc the instruction section refers to "Please Update This Required Field" without any other detail.

What procedure can we apply to solve this type of behavior?

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards,

    JOHN

The SDM servers must be removed from the VMotion configuration.

If VMotion takes more than 30 seconds to complete, SDM will assume a network issue and the SLUMP process will shortly die thereafter.

So, removing from VMOTION it has to return online? There are any action we could execute in order to force SLUMP to start?

    Thanks for your help.

    johnv .........

Restarting the SDM service will force SLUMP to restart and attempt to reconnect.

Unfortunately the recommendations had no effect. We opened a support case but the fault could not be identified either. We only had the alternative of applying the Disaster Recovery plan.

Thank you for your support, I hope that at some point support can identify what happened.
