  • 1.  Database Erro:ODBC OpenAccess SDK driver invalid date literal

    Posted Apr 24, 2019 09:17 AM

    Hello,

Today we have updated BOXI service pack from SP3 to SP5 and currently running on SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 5
    version : 14.1.5.1501

After the update , after providing From and To date then clicking on Run , it throws Database Error .

Database error:[DataDirect][ODBC OpenAccess SDK driver][OpenAccess SDK SQL Engine]Invalid date literal- must be in format.

Even after providing the date in the given format it shows the same error.

Tested the ODBC connection from BOXI to SDM server , the connectivity is fine.

ODBC services are running fine in SDM server.

Restarted the CCM servies(Apache tomcat and Server Intelligance) but no luck.

Unable to figure out why the error is occuring and how to resolve it...

Has anyone found the same issue..??? or why this issue is even occuring...???

    Any solutions are much appriciated.

    Thanks & Regards,

    NadirA

Please perform the steps outlined in the following documentation:

Integrate CA Service Desk Manager with CA Business Intelligence Manually - CA Service Management - 14.1 - CA Technologie…

Alternatively, you could try restoring the files indicated in the above documentation from their pre SP5 versions
