  • 1.  Configuring EEM Failed

    Posted Jul 26, 2017 04:44 PM

    Hello Community,

I'm installing Service Catalog 14.1 on a Windows Server 2012R2 and using a SQL Server 2008R2 on a different server.

On the last step of the wizard, as you know a list of tasks starts running... on the task named "Configuring CA Service Catalog - CA EEM" it failed.

The logs doesn't say anything conclusive, just say that configuring the eem failed.

Have anyone here address this error before? I recycle the services of eem and try again and the same happens.. on the EEM configuration on the wizard i change the server name for localhost and still the same.. checked the reintegrate eem on localhost and still have the error..

    Regards.

    Hello Jason

Can you tell me if you can log in to EEM using the credentials you are entering in the Service Catalog setup application with no problems?  Is EEM configured to use the Local Store for the user store or are you using an LDAP directory?

    Thanks

    Steve

    Good Afternoon Jason.

May I add to Steve's update:
Please check on this conditions to be set in EEM, before you configure SC for EEM:
    - CA EEM has FIPS=Disabled
    - CA EEM is NOT configured to use an external directory.

    Thanks and kind regards, Louis.
