    Hello,

On the create a new request window, you search the customer through the last name, first name.. is there a way i can set that search with the Contact ID of the customer?

    Regards.

Jason, when click on the link, the contact search does have user id search field. And if you mean auto suggestion, then it would be a different story...you would need to change the cnt object common name from combo_name to userid and doing this could have some unexpected issues so we don't recommend. Thanks _Chi

    Jason,

If you enter a backslash ( \ ) followed by the userid of the contact in the Affected End User field and then TAB or otherwise move the focus out of the field; Service Desk will lookup the contact by userid.

    Screenshots:
In the Affected End User field enter a backslash followed by the userid of the contact and then TAB out of the field.

...now TAB out of the field and it will lookup the contact:

    Results of lookup.
