How can we create the access type in Service desk so that only one particular group have the rights to approve the change order.

    We have RCM Team which approves the change order by clicking the Edit button and selecting the option "Approved" in drop list of the Status. The option "Approved" is visible to many groups. Now we want only one particular group(RCM Team) is able to the see and select the option(Approved) in the drop down list of the Status.

     

    Could you please help me to implement the above in Service Desk.

    You can create a data partition on chg_status table and add a condition to remove status Approved

    If the RCM Team has its own acces type.

    Thanks for your suggestion but RCM team do not have own access type. They have  'analyst' access type which many groups have. Could you please let me know in detail if we can do it.

    you can create form groups and add a whereclause on the pdm_macro that creates the lookup or the dropdown!
