System error 1067 on The CA Service Desk Manager Server service could not be started

    Hi,

     

    I encounter system error 1067 on starting CA Service Desk Manager on my a workstation virtual machine.

    How can I troubleshoot it.

    Your best starting point is to check the stdlog files in the log folder of the Service Desk home directory - e.g \Program Files (x86)\CA\Service Desk Manager\log

    The stdlog recorded "Exiting because slump server terminated!" and "Slump died detected." before the Error 1067.

    Reboot the server and then manual start Service Desk Manager Server from Services not through the command prompt.

    Hi Derek,

     

    It OK. Manage to get workstation virtual machine up again today.

    It seem my problem was connection with the database and slump by host name when I use the pdm_config GUI to check what going on.

    As my Database is also install and running on the same machine, I check machine's interface ip address and it was change due to dhcp exipred.

    I alter my etc host file ip address to the new ip address and it started properly.
