12/14/2017 07:00:06 AM from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone: Hi Everyone - We'll be starting in just a few minutes. Please note for today's call we'll be ending early at 40 minutes past the hour. Thanks.
12/14/2017 07:02:24 AM from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone: Hi Everyone - We're ready for questions!
12/14/2017 07:03:33 AM from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone: Please note for today's call we'll be ending early at 40 minutes past the hour due to a scheduling issue. Thanks.
12/14/2017 07:03:44 AM from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone: Ready for questions folks!
12/14/2017 07:05:37 AM from andrea to Everyone: Has anyone here implemented change windows in their environment?
12/14/2017 07:06:21 AM from Jon Israel (CA) to Everyone: @Andrea - did you have a specific question regarding the use of Change Windows?
12/14/2017 07:07:12 AM from andrea to Everyone: I wanted to see how other companies have handled giving access to their change management group to create global change windows.
12/14/2017 07:07:22 AM from Paul Coccimiglio to Everyone: @Andrea - the following documentation provides details about configuring Change Windows - https://docops.ca.com/ca-service-management/14-1/en/using/change-management/how-to-schedule-change-windows
12/14/2017 07:07:54 AM from andrea to Everyone: I know how to configure them
12/14/2017 07:08:50 AM from andrea to Everyone: The issue we've run into is that creating global change windows is limited to the admin functional access unless you modify .js files. We don't want to give our change team modify rights on the administration functional access.
12/14/2017 07:09:04 AM from andrea to Everyone: sorry, not creating but editing
12/14/2017 07:09:47 AM from andrea to Everyone: So I wanted to see if any one else has run into this and how they decided to handle it.
12/14/2017 07:10:25 AM from Jon Israel (CA) to Everyone: @Andrea - unfortunatley that is the way the product is currently designed - such that this piece of the product is currently only open to Admins based on function access. I like the idea of being able to specifiy that based on other roles/functino access, so I would say the best best her ewould be for you to post this to the CA Community as an "idea" so folks can vote for it. I think its a very viable idea.
12/14/2017 07:11:33 AM from andrea to Everyone: @Jon thanks
12/14/2017 07:11:51 AM from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone: Ready for more questions!
12/14/2017 07:13:55 AM from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone: Quiet group. We'll give it a few more minutes for questions:)
12/14/2017 07:15:28 AM from Francisco Avendaño to Everyone: Hi, Referencing the USS Application, how I can assign the Administrator Role to a User in a onboarding portal without using the openspaceadmingroup. I see that exist this role but I don't know assign.
12/14/2017 07:19:12 AM from Carol Piccus to Everyone: @Francisco - what functionality are you trying to provide this user?
12/14/2017 07:19:45 AM from Francisco Avendaño to Everyone: USS with URL group/control_panel/
12/14/2017 07:23:16 AM from Carol Piccus to Everyone: @Francisco - it sounds like you are trying to configure something directly in Liferay. If you would like to add this to a discussion thread in the Community, we can help follow up on this in more detail. Additionally, we can coordinate a separate call. You can reach out to me at carol.piccus@ca.com to coordinate.
12/14/2017 07:24:28 AM from Francisco Avendaño to Everyone: Ok Carol, When do a onboarding, this permit create a admin user, but when enable EEM to enable Catalog Datasource this user lost the admins rights. I think that this user don't have dependency of openspaceadmingroup.
12/14/2017 07:24:35 AM from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone: Any more questions for us?
12/14/2017 07:27:17 AM from Francisco Avendaño to Everyone: Yes, my second question is, if a have 2 Service catalog in cluster configuration, how I must configure the attachment, when attach a file on node1 cannot view if I connect to node2. There is a TEC document about this?
12/14/2017 07:31:32 AM from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to Everyone: @Francisco - Please have a look at this -https://docops.ca.com/ca-service-management/17-0/en/implementing/implement-ca-service-management-17-0/how-to-deploy-ca-service-management-17-0/how-to-implement-ca-service-catalog-17-0/post-installation-tasks-ca-service-catalog#Post-InstallationTasks-CAServiceCatalog-SetUpaCustomLocationforSharedFiles
12/14/2017 07:32:52 AM from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to Everyone: If the file repository for both the nodes is pointing to the same location, you should be able to view the attachments from both the nodes.
12/14/2017 07:34:45 AM from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone: OK Everyone - We need to end a bit early today due to scheduling. Thank you for participating. Please join us back here in January. Happy Holidays and New Year!
12/14/2017 07:35:09 AM from Francisco Avendaño to Everyone: Ok, I must use a UNC path, thanks a lot!!!...
