We are currently running a standard no additional variables assigned PDM_LDAP_SYNC command twice daily on a scheduled .BAT file. This process is working well have absolutely no complaints.
The problem is our AD attribute for email is MAIL. Fairly standard. We need to sync that LDAP attribute with the email address in CA SDM. So that when we update the MAIL (email address) attribute on an active directory account. That SYNC process automatically updates that record when it is run.
Is there documentation (or suggested methods) upon achieving the desired result?
By default the Service Desk email_address attribute syncs with the LDAP mail or pzEmailAddress attributes. You can change this mapping by creating and ldap.mod file in the NX_ROOT\site\mods\majic folder as outlined in the following document:
