  • 1.  SDM submenu does not hide

    Hi,

     

    I have a problem with SDM menu on the mail page (File, View, Search etc.)

     

    If I click on File, View etc. then submenu with items appears. 

    But If I leave without clicking on submenu item, the menu will not hide.

    The menu does not hide even if I click on File again.

     

    I checked the code and there is some mouseout function, but I guess it is not working correctly.

     

    I found out, that the menu dissapears only when I leave the menu on the top or bottom, but when I leave it on left or right side, it stays on.

     

    This is very strange behaviour and users see it as a bug, because they have troubles to get rid of it.

     

    I think that the function is in the menus.js, but I had no luck trying to modify it.

     

    Anyone have the same problem and possible solution?

    Hi Janeček,

     

    What is the SDM version and patch level you are on?

     

    Do you see the behavior with all browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) or only on a specific browser?

     

    Have you done any modifications to the menu.js file in anyway or this is still very much OOTB?

    version is 17.0

     

    Yes, with all browsers I see the same behavior. (I checked in Chrome, IE, Edge).

     

    No. I have not done any modifications to the menu.js.

    I also tried to put back all original css files to be sure, but it is still the same.

    You might want to log a Support Case for a deeper investigation on this. 

     

    Let us know the case number once logged so we can follow\track it internally...

    Marek, this is a known issue DE37895. Please open a Support case and have the Support engineer attach this DE to the case. Currently CA CV Team is working for a fix for this DE DE37895. Thanks _Chi

    The solution has been included in the 17.1 rollup patch ( SO03787 ).
