    I have a implementation between SDM 14.1 and CABI 4.1 the server of CABI is a Virtiual Machine and we found that this machine increases his space in Gigabites very fast on the the next directory

    C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\CommonReporting4\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Data\BOXI4_6400\BOXI4.WebIntelligenceProcessingServer\sessions that is used to the sessions


    We found a increaces space between 2bg and 3 gb in in matter of time of 1 or 10 minutes Is there a way to stop the increases of this folder?

    Is it normal behavior ?

    This depends on usage and temporary cache needs to be cleared manually if it grows more than expected size.


    Perform the following:
    1. Login to CABI server
    2.  Stop Server Intelligence Agent (SIA).
    3.  Navigate to the Data directory :SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Data.
    4.  Clear the content of Data directory.
    5.  Start SIA.
    6.  Go to CMC--> Servers--> properties of Web Intelligence Processing Server.
    7.  Set the "Recycle Timeout" to 500 seconds.
    8.  Restart the server.
    9.  Go to CMC--> Applications--> properties of Platform Search Application.
    10.  Select "Only Index metadata" option.
