  • 1.  Export ignores Data partition

    Hello community,

today I faced strange behaviour, in our environment we have role called IT-Specialist that is restricted by Data partition to access (view and modify) tickets assigned to his groups:

    (assignee IN (@root.id)) OR (group.[group]group_list.member IN (@root.id))

Performing search, even without any filters, gives correct result inside specialist's area of responsibility, but when user click Export button, he receiving sheet with all tickets in system.

Is anyone fixed something like this?

    Regards,

    Timur

Hi Timur,  can you confirm which version of Service Desk you are running?   There was a fix created for version 12.7 for this exact problem, but it appears to have been fixed in 12.9 and up.

    Let us know,

    Jon I.

Thank you for the reply Jon,

we are on 12.7 CP2 and I feel like there was no problem like this on CP1.

    Timur,

I would suggest to raise a support case and request a fix for PROB #:  2857.  PROBLEM SYMPTOM: WIN-DATA PARTITION CONSTRAINTS MAY NOT BE APPLIED
