  • 1.  Unified Self Service search not working as expected

    I have integrated USS with CA SDM 14.1.0.3. Also I have enabled Google as data source for searching. For testing purposes I have created knowledge document and published it. But when I login into USS and for example type "printer" into search field I get:

     

     

    But if I press enter I get result I was expecting:

     

     

     

    So I have two questions:

    1. Why there are no immediate results when typing into search field?

    and

    2. Why Google search is not working?

     

    Are there any additional prerequisites I didn't follow?

    Hi Vedran,

     

    For question 1, I am not sure if it would be possible to have immediate results when you type into search field, since the integration between USS and SDM is through web services defined in DATA SOURCE, so I don't believe a search as you type would work via SOAP.

     

    Any more comments on this I would also appreciate.

    thank you for your response. I see your point, but what results supposed to show immediately? From which source?
